Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Messages from DoDEA Director Mr. Tom Brady

What DoDEA parents and employees need to know…

The health and well-being of our students is our top priority. We will continue to work collaboratively with the military commands to do everything possible about this global concern.

The World Health Organization has issued a rare public health emergency of international concern regarding the novel coronavirus.

This is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation and CDC will provide updated information as it becomes available, in addition to updated guidance.

Employees, parents and students should stay informed about COVID-19 and prepare as they would for any emergency.

Preparing now can limit the effects of a potential pandemic. Informed participation and cooperation from parents and everyone will be needed for effective public health efforts.

Because this is a rapidly evolving situation, school Principals and Installation Commanders are the best sources of information that affects our schools.
